Synchronous cabinet has the main function of 2 or more generators used in case of a malfunction of the mains, the backup generators will automatically start up and synchronize and divide the load together. In addition, the synchronous cabinet also has the function of monitoring the load and deciding the number of generators to run according to the needs of the load.
The synchronization selection can be automatic from the unit control cabinet (PLC control) or can be operated manually through the push button on the synchronous cabinet. The synchronous performance is only performed when the voltage of the generator and busbar are within the permissible normal range 80-110% of the rated value. After performing the synchronization process, the generator is connected to the grid, the synchronous control circuits will be turned off, completing its task.
The synchronization cabinet can choose from 3 functions: automatic synchronization, manual synchronization or bypass mode. The bypass mode is selected when the generator is operating in standalone, off-grid mode for self-use in the factory.
